Hi, I’m Julia Chung,

I am a graphic designer specializing in branding, UI/UX, and visual storytelling. With a background in fine arts and psychology, I blend creativity with user-centered design to create compelling visuals that tells a story. Whether designing for print, digital media, or social platforms, I strive to craft meaningful experiences that connect brands with people.

I’ve worked across various industries, from restaurant branding to editorial design, building my skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and social media management. My experience as a designer, photographer, and creative strategist allows me to ensure cohesive and impactful designs.

I was born in South Korea and spent my childhood immersed in its culture, which I often incorporate into my design work. After moving to Vancouver, Canada, for middle school and later attending high school in Prosper, Texas, I developed a diverse perspective that influences my creative approach. Currently, I am majoring in graphic design with a minor in psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, after previously attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago my freshman year. My global experiences shape my design practice, allowing me to find creative ways to visually connect with different cultures and audiences.
