This graphic design project explores how the definition of “mundane” can be explored in our daily life. The series encourages viewers to take a moment in their daily life to find beauty within our ordinary life.
Through three minimalist compositions—a bedroom with sunlight streaming in, a croissant on a plate in sunlight, and a tulip in a vase bathed in sunlight—the project highlights the quiet beauty in routine experiences.
Purpose
This project seeks to shift perceptions about daily life, emphasizing that beauty is not limited to extraordinary moments. By capturing the warmth and familiarity of sunlight in common spaces, it encourages viewers to find joy in routine experiences.

The sunlight streaming into the bedroom suggests the start of a new day. This common occurrence, waking up to sunlight, is a universal and mundane aspect of daily life. This piece explores the beauty in the start of every day. The use of sunlight creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, emphasizing the comfort and familiarity of the morning routine.
Breakfast
The sunlight illuminating the croissant on a plate draws attention to the simple joy of having breakfast in natural light. It portrays breakfast which is seen as a mundane activity, becomes a moment of appreciation for the little pleasures in life. The play of light underscores the project's theme of finding aesthetic value in the mundane.
Tulip
The simple act of having flowers at home reflects the mundane yet delightful way of brightening the mood of indoor space. Sunlight on the tulip symbolizes the nature of beauty and moments in our daily lives.
